Working families who are struggling to make ends meet need strong budgeting tools to make every dollar they have work for them. Britepaths' Financial Literacy Program provided mentoring, financial counseling or budgeting classes to 2,060 Northern Virginia residents in 2019. The Program is volunteer-driven, and has demonstrated an 80% success rate in increasing clients’ financial stability.
Our Financial Literacy services seek to provide clients with the knowledge they need to gain control of their finances and begin saving for the future. Our six-month Financial Mentoring program, financial counseling and budgeting classes help demystify the process of creating and adhering to a budget, using credit wisely and building savings. Britepaths provides a variety of opportunities for individuals and families to access these services to allow them to fit classes or mentoring into their demanding schedules.
The Program is made possible because of the work and dedication of a strong team of volunteers who serve as mentors, financial counselors and class instructors. Our classes can be brought to your organization or business and tailored to the needs of class participants.
